Development log
August 30th, 2022: Patient starts IV. Xey have several broken ribs, a broken ulna, and a broken nose. Xey keep asking questions, asking where how xey got here, and when xey will be going home. I said nothing.
September 11th, 2022: Patient has developed a persistent headache on the right side of xeir head. Xey continue to ask questions, and are becoming restless. I hope this won't become another problem.
September 29th, 2022: Patient's right eye developed a dark film, covering the whole eye (sclera, iris, and pupil). Xey have been more aggressive and confused. Xey attempted to escape. I bound xem to xeir bed.
October 18th, 2022: Patient's right eye is now completely black, and has begun displaying binary code. After deciphering, it was concluded that the binary translates to "SCARED". It is assumed that the binary displays the patient's current emotions.
November 1st, 2022: Patient has become more complacent. Xeir voice has become more grainy and muffled. Xey have been complaining of a sore throat. I have xem scheduled for a biopsy tomorrow at noon strictly.
November 2nd, 2022: The biopsy revealed that the patient's vocal cords have transformed into a speaker. To be able to hear xem better, the surgeon sewed xem back in a way that the speaker would be exposed.
November 3rd, 2022: The patient has awoken. Xey screamed for 10 minutes once xey were informed of what had happened. I had to sedate xem, and I upped xeir IV dosage.
December 20th, 2022: The patient is complacent enough to allow visits to the common room. Xey participated in a fun activity where xey drew on a piece of paper xeir favourite animal. Xey did not interact with the other patients in the room.
January 5th, 2022: Patient made friends with Cable, another patient of ours. They bonded over their technology-related developments.
February 22nd, 2022: Patient had an argument with Cable over who would get to use the ping pong ball today. The emotional predicament caused Glitch to short-circuit and restart. Cable apologized once Glitch came to, and was forgiven promptly after Glitch reoriented xemselves.
